In case you're new to the world of blogging, let me introduce to you The Bloggess. She's awesome. You'll love her. She is one of those truly, genuinely funny people that you wish you could add to your circle of friends.She's got quirk coming out her ears. She's rather amazing and when I heard that she'd landed herself a book deal, I clapped my hands with excitement because I knew it'd be awesome.
If you haven't read the Beyonce post, I suggest you go and read it RIGHT NOW. Seriously, GO. This post prompted me to buy some Beyonce cards from Zazzle.com. Seriously, I bought them and sent them to a few people that I knew would appreciate their inherant awesomeness.
Anyway, to the book!
It's amazing. It's funny and it's strange. She has had such a bizarre upbringing and her resiliance and humour despite it all is testament to what a cool and interesting chick she really is. There are some bits from the blog in there but there's HEAPS of new stuff that allow the reader into Jenny's inner workings. Like her struggles with anxiety and arthritis.
I'm so glad she got a book deal and the non-blogging world can now be introduced to one of the funniest women in the world. Now all I need her to do is write another one. Soon.
